Cardinham Parish Council
Launched in the autumn 2014, the community website seeks to enable residents to be better informed of what’s happening, to join or form local clubs, to be more involved in community decision-making, and to take full advantage of the facilities available. The inspiration and coaching for this was provided by Warleggan, thank you Chris.
It also aims to provide visitors and residents with ideas for things to do, and places to go, and a forum through which ideas can be discussed.

Cardinham School
The school is at the heart of the village. Cardinham School admits girls and boys from four to eleven years old. The pupils come from a variety of moorland villages and hamlets within its designated catchment area, as well as from the town of Bodmin itself and other neighbouring villages. The school celebrated its centenary in 1982 and the original Victorian building still forms the main part of the school. It also has an annex and its own playing field a short distance away.

The Cardinham & District Gardening Club
The Club was founded in 1989 by Margaret Bate, Libby Pidcock and Loveday Sutton, three residents of Cardinham with a common interest in gardening and gardens. All three continue as active members of the Club.
From the outset the aim of the club was to provide a supportive and informative environment for fellow gardeners and those who consider their gardening a leisure pursuit, rather than a forum for competitive vegetable growers. The Club holds monthly meetings on the second Monday, with speakers on a variety of topics or visits to local gardens and other places of interest to Club members
